I am doing the very thing that I love to do. Not only is it fulfilling-but it's rewarding that others so appreciate the service. I recently received a few handwritten notes stating how much they enjoy the food, and the connections we make. Being in the family hub-the kitchen-allows me to build relationships with mom, dad, grandparents, or children. I get the opportunity to love on these families with my talent, and they are encouraging to me personally. Often, someone will smell something or see me preparing a dish and sit to observe awhile. I have kids learning and asking questions-even being willing to try new foods! The hectic daily life pauses for a few minutes to take in those smells and fellowship over food preparations. What an honor it is to serve and in turn receive fulfillment. I pray you are encouraged today and find true fulfillment in the One who embodies joy!
