Are you ready for some football?

My son just started his first season of football a few weeks ago. The thrill of the game of football has long been a favorite of mine. He is developing quickly and is sharp at watching plays unfold. If you have seen me on the bleachers or on the sidelines of one of my kids sports-there is no denying my competitive nature. I am cheering him on every step of the way...even joining the "chain gang" to get closer to the plays! With many unsuccessful attempts, my wife and I try to capture the tackles he makes. However, at the last game, there was a photographer there and they happened to get a great shot. It wasn't until I saw that moment frozen in time that I realized the determination he was capable of. The tenacity and passion put forth in that play speaks to so many areas of life. A life filled with challenges that need full on tackling! Passion that has joy laced all throughout it.
